Book Week will be celebrated on 1st of March this year.We take this day very seriously and think that dressing up on Book Week isn’t just for children! Anyone can get involved in the worldwide celebration of books and reading by dressing up. Dressing up for teachers is a great way to awaken young imaginations and get students engaged in Book Week activities.
We understand that teachers have to come up with creative and fun ways to engage their students in the celebration of books and reading, so they might not have loads of time to look for costumes. That’s why we’ve created a list with some great Book Week fancy dress options for teachers. We’ve looked at costumes inspired by classic as well as more modern books, so everyone will find something they like here.
Where’s Wally
We love this quick and easy but effective costume idea for Book Week. You’ll definitely stand out from the crowd wearing one of our officially licensed Where’s Wally costumes.
Where’s Wally has been entertaining children for over 30 years in his classic red and white stripes. He’s been pretty much everywhere, travelling through time and space! You can either dress up as Wally, his friend Wenda or his nemesis Odlaw in our official costumes. For families looking for a group costume, we also have children’s costumes for Wally and Wenda.
Roald Dahl
Roald Dahl inspired costumes are some of the most popular choices for kids as well as for adults dressing up to celebrate Book Week.
